ABOUT THE ROLE
The Appointment Setter plays a critical role in converting marketing-generated leads into scheduled in-office consultations. This position is responsible for handling inbound inquiries, qualifying prospects, and guiding them through a structured process that results in booked appointments. Success in this role directly impacts patient growth and overall revenue performance by improving lead-to-consult conversion rates. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Inbound Lead Follow-Up & Appointment Setting
Ensure timely and structured outreach to marketing-generated leads.
Contact inbound leads generated through paid advertising
Follow established scripts to qualify leads and present the consultation offer
Guide conversations toward booking and secure scheduled appointments
Maintain fast response times to improve conversion outcomes
2. Lead Qualification & Conversion Execution
Maintain disciplined execution of qualification and closing standards.
Evaluate leads based on fit, intent, and location criteria
Handle basic objections and guide leads toward a clear next step
Apply structured messaging while maintaining natural conversation flow
Focus on improving offer-to-close performance
3. CRM Updates & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate documentation and visibility across the pipeline.
Log call outcomes and lead status in the CRM
Keep pipeline stages clean and organized
Document relevant notes to support reporting
Track follow-up tasks clearly
4. Follow-Up & Reactivation Workflows
Maximize every opportunity through consistent persistence.
Re-engage leads that did not book during initial outreach
Execute structured follow-up sequences
Recover missed calls and stalled conversations
Maintain consistent outreach across multiple touchpoints

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3+ years of overall formal work experience.
Proven experience in appointment setting, inside sales, or call-based roles (not only customer service with upselling, must have been in a direct sales position)
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural conversation flow
Comfortable handling objections and guiding conversations toward booking
Experience working with CRM systems
Tech savviness to learn new software and AI programs
Ability to manage high lead volume with speed and accuracy
Results-oriented mindset with comfort working toward performance targets
Must have own webcam, microphone, and computer (relevant software and subscriptions provided)
Excellent English verbal and written language proficiency (C2 on CEFR Scale)
Access to a quiet work area at home with reliable internet (100 Mbps or more)
PREFERRED ("NICE-TO-HAVE") QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in healthcare, chiropractic, or medical appointment scheduling
Familiarity with high-ticket service sales processes
Experience working with paid-advertising-generated leads
Understanding of follow-up sequences and pipeline management
Previous experience in performance-based compensation environments
ROLE SPECIFICATIONS
Base Salary: Q8,250 base salary + unlimited commissions (high performers have the opportunity to significantly increase or even double their earnings* based on performance)
Role type: Full-time.
Location: Guatemala (Remote - Work from home).
Schedule: NIGHT SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday: 4:30pm - 11:00pm / Saturday: 9:00am - 6:00pm

RECRUITING PROCESS
Application / Screening: When you apply for this position, we will ask you a short questionnaire to get to know you a little bit better and ask you for some additional inputs to see if you qualify for the position. In addition, we will ask you to complete a short psychometric evaluation and a short English proficiency assessment. The idea is to explore if this is a good fit before moving forward.
Skills Assessment: You will be asked to complete a few exercises and/or projects designed to recreate the work tasks that you will be responsible for if you are given the role. This helps us gauge your skill level as well as give you a better idea of the required work.
Skills Assessment Interview: This is a 60 min - 90 min conversation where we further test your skills, learn about your previous working experiences, and evaluate culture fit to the role and company.
Hiring Manager Final Interview: This is a 30 min - 60 min conversation with the position’s Hiring Manager (and potentially a few company team members) to get to know you better and to set the expectations and vision for the role.
The entire process usually takes anywhere between 2-6 weeks to complete depending on the seniority of the position.
